The Spaceship of Ezekiel

One of the thousands (millions?) of people whose attention was caught by von Däniken's book was Josef F. Blumrich, an engineer who was working on large rockets and spacecraft for NASA. Being somewhat amused by the claims in the book, he set out to disprove von Däniken, with his investigation focused on the purported space journey in the book of Ezekiel. The result of his work was his admission of total defeat, which he announced in his own book, titled The Spaceships of Ezekiel.

Even more fascinating than the account of Ezekiel is the Book of Enoch, which is one of the apocryphal books (connected to but not part of the Bible). The Book of Enoch conveys profuse descriptions of astronomical phenomena and celestial journeys.

References to Enoch in the Bible tell us that;

“By faith Enoch was taken up so that he should not see death; and he was not found, because God had taken him.” (Hebrews 11:5)

We also read that “Enoch walked with God”. (Genesis 5:24). As we read the Book of Enoch itself, it seems that Enoch not only walked with God... he also FLEW with God, and God didn't bring him back !

Next, however, we are going to look a little more closely at the possibilities of technology in the account of Ezekiel, focusing on electronics.
